Ted Cruz does not care about you. It’s not his thing.
Texas senator Ted Cruz does not care that you lost your job or your business due to the Covid virus. He does not care that you are facing eviction. He does not care that your unemployment benefits are expiring at Christmas. He does not care that you have lost loved ones to the pandemic. He does not care that you are often treated badly by police officers for no valid reason. He does not care if babies and toddlers are ripped from the arms of their mothers, and placed in cages. He does not care if our military is used against civilians on American streets.
Ted Cruz does not care that Joe Biden won the presidential election by more than 7 million votes and the electoral count certified by all of the 50 states. Ted doesn’t care about the 80 million Americans who made that happen.
Ted Cruz does not care about black people, Latin people, gay people, atheists, Muslims, or anyone else who isn’t an evangelical white person. He doesn’t care if you can’t get medical care. He doesn’t care about people who are going hungry. He does not care.
There are many things Ted Cruz does not care about. There is only one thing Ted Cruz cares about. He has the same wet dream every night of his life – that he is President Ted Cruz. That’s the only guiding “principle” Ted Cruz has, his obsession with getting to the White House. It has been his lifelong ambition, and he is pursuing his dream without regard for truth or decency. He does not care that Donald Trump branded him “lying Ted Cruz” and accused his father of killing JFK, then called his wife an ugly skank. Ted Cruz does not care.
So he is a willing participant in Donald Trump’s insane attempts to overthrow democracy, and make the losing candidate the winner. If Trump serves another term, he can’t run in 2024 due to term limits. That means Ted can run. So he is supporting the effort to overthrow our government because he wants the votes of the racists, fascists, and idiots who blindly follow Trump. This is what makes Ted Cruz grovel in the mud as he is doing right now.
It is a poor strategy. By taking this route, Cruz is making damn sure that he will NEVER be elected president of this country, and making it highly likely that voters will boot him out of the senate in 4 years.
