TRAITORS SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE.

I was very disappointed to see that U.S. Representative Dan Crenshaw of Texas joined the failed effort to overthrow the government of the United States and replace it with a dictatorship. I once had some respect for Crenshaw, He was a Navy vet, a SEAL, wounded in combat. But, like the thirteenth strike of a crazy clock which negates all that has gone before it, Crenshaw’s act of sedition against this nation has rendered him unqualified to serve the future of this country in any capacity. It would be less offensive if Crenshaw had been caught smoking crack with a hooker in a stolen Lincoln Navigator at 3 AM.
But please don’t just take my word for it. This is what the Constitution of the United States has to say:
14th AMENDMENT, SECTION 3:
“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, …or hold any office, …under the United States or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath … to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same…”
Not only does this make Crenshaw and over 100 other Republican members of congress constitutionally disqualified from serving, it also constitutes a federal crime called Sedition. Sedition is defined as “overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward rebellion against the established order.”
Sedition is a serious felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
The attempt to toss out legitimate votes and install the losing candidate was a brazen effort to overthrow the government. Any and all of those who support this attempted coup are traitors and should not be allowed to hold any public office in the country they have attempted to overthrow. They have betrayed their oath, broken our laws, ignored our Constitution, and spit in the faces of the people whose votes they tried to take away.
If this is not treason, it will do nicely until treason gets here.
